Yes! I'm happy to come to you. At-home sessions are especially wonderful for families because your home is where so many of your everyday memories happen. I'm also happy to explore outdoor locations or other meaningful places with you. Sessions within 25 miles of 92129 are included at no extra cost. Between 25–50 miles, a flat $35 travel fee applies. For anything beyond that, just reach out and we'll figure out the details together before booking.

Some locations — like certain gardens, studios, or venues — come with their own entry fee, permit requirement, or rental cost. If I suggest a location like this, I'll let you know about any associated cost upfront so you can decide if it's the right fit before booking. If you'd like to shoot somewhere I don't already have on my list, or you have a specific venue in mind, any entry fees, permits, or rental costs for that location are the client's responsibility.

For example, if you're interested in a studio rental for a more controlled, indoor setting, I'm happy to arrange that — the rental cost would simply be added to your session total.

Don’t worry—I’ll help! Once we choose a location, I’m happy to offer outfit guidance and suggestions to help everything feel cohesive while still looking like you. The goal isn't for everyone to match perfectly, but to feel comfortable and like yourselves.

They don't have to! Some of my favorite photographs happen when kids are simply being themselves. I’ll give them space to play, explore, and warm up rather than expecting them to sit still and smile for the camera. We’ll take breaks when needed and let the session unfold naturally.

ABSO-FREAKING-LUTELY!! Your pets are ALWAYS welcome in our sessions - I love when your fluffy family members are part of your session, and I’m happy to help choose a pet-friendly location.

That’s okay! I’ve worked with all kinds of animals, including nervous, reactive, and easily distracted pets, and I’m happy to meet them wherever they’re at. I’m patient and never expect your pet to sit perfectly still or look at the camera the whole time. We’ll give them space to get comfortable, follow their lead, and let their personality shine. Sometimes all we need is one fleeting moment to capture something truly special.

These sessions are intentionally gentle and flexible. There is no expectation for posing or perfection—we'll simply focus on the connection between you and your loved one and document this time together as naturally as possible. I’m happy to come to your home or another meaningful location, and we can move at whatever pace feels right for you.

I recommend reaching out a few weeks in advance whenever possible, especially if you have a specific date or location in mind. That said, if you're hoping for something sooner, reach out anyway—I may have availability!

I know you’ll be excited to see your photos! Your final gallery will typically be delivered within 3–4 weeks of your session, depending on the number of sessions in my editing queue. I take my time carefully selecting and editing each image, but I’ll always work as efficiently as I can to get your photographs back to you as soon as possible—without sacrificing the care and attention they deserve.
