Studio Ebeth LLC (“Studio Ebeth,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains

what information we collect through studioebeth.com (the “Site”), how we use it, and the choices you have.

By using the Site, you agree to the practices described here.


1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Name, email address, phone number, and mailing address when you submit an inquiry, booking request, or contact form
  • Session details you share with us (e.g., family members, pets, event dates, location preferences)
  • Payment information when you book a session or pay an invoice (processed by Stripe via Pixieset — see Section 3)
  • Any information you voluntarily share via email or social media messages

Information collected automatically:

  • Standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, collected through our website host and any analytics tools we use
  • Cookies or similar technologies used by our website platform (Pixieset) to operate the Site and, where applicable, measure traffic

We do not knowingly collect sensitive information such as Social Security numbers or financial account

numbers directly — payment details are handled entirely by Stripe (see Section 3).


2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

  • Respond to inquiries and process session bookings
  • Communicate with you about your session (scheduling, reminders, gallery delivery)
  • Process payments and maintain business financial records
  • Send occasional updates, promotions, or newsletters, if you've opted in.
  • Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor opt-out requests within ten (10) business days. You may also unsubscribe by emailing hello@studioebeth.com
  • Improve the Site and our services
  • Comply with legal and tax obligations

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.


3. Third-Party Service Providers

We use the following third-party services to operate our business, each of which has its own privacy policy

governing how they handle your data:

  • Pixieset — website hosting, online booking, and gallery delivery
  • Stripe — payment processing (Studio Ebeth does not store your full payment card details)
  • QuickBooks Online — bookkeeping and financial recordkeeping
  • Instagram/Meta — social media engagement, if you interact with @studioebeth
  • Email provider (hello@studioebeth.com) — client communication

These providers may process your data outside of our direct control, subject to their own privacy practices.

4. Photographs and Session Images

Photographs taken during your session, and any usage rights related to them, are governed by your

Photography Services Agreement — not this Privacy Policy. That agreement outlines whether and how

images may be used for portfolio, marketing, or social media purposes, and you may opt out of promotional

use of your images per the terms of that agreement.


5. Cookies

Our Site, hosted through Pixieset, may use cookies to enable core functionality (like remembering your

gallery login) and, where applicable, basic traffic analytics. You can control cookies through your browser

settings, though disabling them may affect Site functionality.


6. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy,

including ongoing client relationships, tax and accounting recordkeeping (generally required for several

years under California/IRS guidelines), and legal compliance. Session images are retained per the terms of

your Photography Services Agreement. Inquiry and contact information from prospective clients who do not book a session is retained for up to two (2) years, after which it is deleted unless you have opted in to marketing communications.


7. Your Privacy Rights (California Residents)

As a small California business, we are not currently subject to the California Consumer Privacy Act, which applies only to businesses meeting certain revenue and data-volume thresholds. Regardless, we aim to honor reasonable requests to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you. To make a request, email us at hello@studioebeth.com and we will respond within a reasonable time.

We do not sell or share your personal information.


8. Children's Privacy

Our sessions frequently include children, but the Site itself is directed at the parents or guardians who book

and manage sessions, not at children as users of the Site. We do not knowingly collect personal information

directly from children through the Site outside of the context of a booked family session arranged by a parent

or guardian.


9. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the personal information we collect. However, no method of

transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute

security.


10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised

“Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the

updated policy.
